COLOURS FOR FALL
This month has proven to be a little more hectic than anticipated. With being back to work and my major Etsy sale coming up, I’ve been feeling slightly overwhelmed! To try and unwind, we took a little day trip to the Rocky Mountains last weekend. We are so fortunate to live an hour’s drive away from one of the prettiest backdrops in the world.
Fall seems to be rearing it’s head here in Alberta. The leaves are changing, the pumpkin spice lattes are out at Starbucks and cozy sweaters are in every store front window. I absolutely love this time of year.
Three colours that I am absolutely loving this fall are: olive, burgundy, and camel. They even look great all paired together. I can’t get enough of the wool hat that so many stores are carrying them right now. Be prepared to try on a few before you find the perfect one! My favourites were found at Aldo, American Eagle and H&M. They are really a beautiful way to add a little class to your outfit! A big chunky scarf over a light-weight sweater or a poncho are also great additions for the colder weather.
These boots were an awesome find at Winners a few weeks ago. So comfortable and they look great over my skinny jeans. With so many great new styles out now, grab your pumpkin spice latte and head out shopping!
We did have a pretty relaxing day in Banff although, as many of you know, it’s still a lot of work when you have little ones in tow. I think we all just needed to breathe a little mountain air.
