When I was a young girl, I loved wearing barrettes in my hair! I’m excited to see this trend coming back around with full force this spring. Faux- pearls and diamonds are really at the centre of this trend. You can go as bold or as discreet as you want here without judgement. Have a little fun by stacking and mixing different sized clips and metals. There really are no rules! Try a few different styles and see what suits you. Wear One

The easiest way to rock this style, choose one larger hair barrette. Go a little bolder here if you’d like with lots of sparkly jewels or pearls!

Wear Two

This is my personal favourite! Clip your bangs horizontally using two thin hairpins. Don’t be afraid to mix gold, silver, rose gold and even black finishes here.

Stack

Make a statement by stacking you as many hair clips as you’d like. The size doesn’t matter although I prefer the longer clip on the bottom as an anchor for this style.

Layer

Sweep one side of your hair back and behind your ear and secure it using one or more clips. Use a middle part or deep side part. If you have thicker hair, try angling them at opposite directions for maximum hold (like I’ve done here!). These leaf clips are so pretty and great for achieving this style!

Pull it Back

Clip your hair back behind your hair using a larger barrette. For this half-updo, you can add more clips on the sides if you’d like! Try different variations by using braids of twists!
