Holidays are such a fun and special time to spend with your family and friends. What are your Halloween traditions? One of our favourites, is a trip to Calgary’s corn maze: Cobb’s Adventure Park! Check out our photo album and get the scoop on our tips to make this a great experience for all!
Pumpkin Everything
Every year, I always want a few photos of the kids amongst some pumpkins. There are hardly any good places like this in Calgary but taking a drive east of the city will provide all the Halloween fun and photo opportunities that you need. We spent most of the day at Cobb’s today and my boys couldn’t stop talking about all the fun they had. No matter how old your kids are, there will be something here for them.
Cobb’s Adventure Farm
Attractions:
Kangaroo Petting Zoo *new!
Black Light Mini-Golf
Bouncy Castle World
Climbing Wall
Spider Climb
Bungy Trampoline
Archery Tag
Zorbz Balls
Burlap Sack Slides
Pedal Carts
Corn Maze
Tractor Ride
Tips For Your Visit:
The park is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-5pm. Arrive as soon as the park opens to avoid a long entry line and get first access to any activities that your kids are excited to do. We arrived at 10:45am on Saturday and didn’t wait for anything! Plan to spend at least 3 hours here as there are lots to explore; my boys spent an hour just in the bouncy castles! You can bring your own food or purchase concessions there.
General Admission is around $13 per person which includes the corn maze, tractor ride and a few other things. “Kernels” tickets need to be purchased to experience most of the extra activities like the mini-golf, bungy trampoline and kangaroo zoo. It all really depends on the ages of your kids! The Bought the Farm pass allows you to experience everything without having to purchase the extra kernels tickets. I would suggest the Family Day Pass for $69 as it’s your best bet with 2 General Admissions (for the parents!) and 2 Bought The Farm admissions (for the kids!). Keep an eye out on Groupon in early October for a deal!
Field of Screams!
Need an extra scare? Try Field of Screams! I am hoping to try this next year as a fun and incredibly scary date night with my hubby. That means I have a year to work up the courage to do it. Do all of the daytime Cobb’s activities plus four haunted houses and the cornfield of terror! Since Cobb’s is located outside of the city, amidst farm land, I imagine this would be pretty dark and spooky at night!
I love this so much! I’m currently pregnant with my first, but we’re excited to share future Halloween’s and other holiday’s with our baby girl once she gets here! We have a corn maze here in town, and while we didn’t go this year, I’m hoping that we can make it next year, this looks like so much fun!
This looks like such a fun time! Happy Halloween to you and your family!
This looks awesome! Your family is gorgeous!

This looks amazing! I want to rope a cow!!!
It looks like y’all had a blast! We have a (much smaller) farm here that does something similar, my favorite being the pumpkin catapult 🎃
This is awesome!! A fellow Calgarian! I have yet to visit Cobb’s and I would love to check it out! Thanks so much for the review!
You must!! It’s actually a really fun spot. My kids love anything Halloween!
