Emily in Paris is back and the fashion is bigger and better than ever! Since most of us don’t have the budget to be shopping on Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, I have put together a fun post filled with affordable, chic fashion pieces inspired by Emily’s colourful outfits this season. Read on for Emily in Paris outfit inspiration!
Emily in Paris Outfit Inspiration
Emily in Paris is back for a second season on Netflix. Lily Collins plays a slightly clueless American advertising executive who relocates to the city of Paris for a year. This show has everything from laughter to love to fabulous fashion. I found Emily’s fashion sense not so tacky this season and fell head over heels for so many of her fun and colourful outfits. Just give me a sequined bucket hat and a flared midi skirt! I decided to turn out a blog post with some Emily in Paris outfit inspiration. These outfits are not replicas of her wardrobe but I think you could easily see Emily in any of these styles. Plus, they are much more affordable!
Television Show Fashion
Since this post is more of a fun, creative project, some of the items I chose may not be in stock anymore. I tried to keep things current or link something very similar! You might have noticed that I get pretty addicted and inspired by good television shows. It’s been a good distraction for many while being stuck at home over the past two years. If you loved Queen’s Gambit, then check out this post. Or if you’re obsessed with everything from Yellowstone, then don’t miss this tribute to cowgirl chic style!
This outfit makes me want to stroll the banks of the Seine. The gradient ruffled tulle of this skirt combined with the large collar bow is so Parisienne!
Stripes and Floral
I love mixing patterns like this floral and stripe number. I know you’re all going to be after these sock boots and blazer and I looked everywhere for something similar to link but had no luck! These were originally from Target.
A bodysuit works perfectly under an a-line skirt! I think you’ll agree that this green colour is absolutely stunning, oui, oui?
I love the mix of red and gingham in this season 2 copycat outfit. Emily wears something very similar but in a gingham blazer and mini skirt.
Colour, colour, colour! This floral skirt has so many bright colours that it’s easy to match a pastel or jewel-toned top. I decided on both palettes for this outfit!
The collared or “Peter Pan collar” dress is definitely Emily’s style. I’ve linked a similar one in white.
