Grease Sandra Dee and Sandy Costume Ideas!
Since I got my vintage Mustang, I’ve always wanted to do a Halloween costume to incorporate the movie Grease! I couldn’t decide between “Sandra Dee” and her preppy Pink Ladies look or the BA Sandy that she transforms into by the end of the 1978 movie. So I did both! Which one do you prefer? Either way, I’ve linked these costumes for you below.
Grease Sandra Dee Pink Ladies Costume
If you don’t want to spend a lot on a Halloween costume, this jacket and scarf set will only set you back $25. Add a white shirt, poodle skirt or black pants to complete the look. A high pony tail or bun is how the movie portrays Sandra Dee but there are lots of wig options out there too. Get your girlfriends together and go as a group by adding Frenchie and Rizzo Pink Ladies.

I personally prefer this edgy Sandy costume! She is so confident and fierce! You likely have everything you need, minus the wig, to put this Grease Sandy costume together.
What you need:
- Faux-leather leggings or black leggings
- black tank top
- black leather jacket
- thick belt
- black or red heels
Add red lipstick, black sunglasses, and a cigarette to really get into character. This would also be a great couples costume idea. Have your spouse dress up as the preppy or gang version of Danny!
