Headbands of Hope’s mantra is that for every headband purchased, they will donate one to a child with cancer. I have so much love for this cause. They believe that giving headbands help to restore a child’s confidence while receiving treatment. They also donate 10% of proceeds to different nominated charities throughout different weeks of the year.
Greta’s Story
On a personal level, if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you may have heard the story of Greta. She is a beautiful 3-year-old girl that lives in my community, with a rare liver cancer called Hepatoblastoma. When Abby from Headbands of Hope contacted me to send over a headband, I mentioned Greta’s cause. Not only did they want to send Greta a headband, they sent a box of headbands to the Alberta Children’s Hospital. It was amazing to see, first hand, how this charity really does give back.

Cancer is heartbreaking on all levels. This is such a wonderful and important cause.
I love that these headbands help children going through cancer. These’s nothing harder than seeing children suffer. I love that this adds a little self confidence for them. Love your hair!! I’ll have to check out your extensions appointment.
