Happy holidays friends! This year, I decided to start our holiday decorations over from scratch since we’ve moved into our new house. You know that I love colour and that I love saving money so these red, pink, and teal Christmas tree decorations were a beautiful addition but they did not cost much! See where I shopped and get inspired with links to all of these items, currently on clearance!

King of Christmas Tree
Out with the old and in with the new! I believe that an artificial Christmas tree is an investment that you will have for years and years to come. So I made the decision to splurge on a prelit flocked tree from The King of Christmas. If you aren’t familiar with the term flocked, it means that it’s been sprayed with white foam to resemble artificial snow!
These trees are quite costly but the slim tree offered a bigger savings and I love the way it fits perfectly in the corner. They have easy delivery to Canada too! We’ve had our previous tree for the past 10 years and I decided that I was done untangling lights and we needed an upgrade! The ceilings in our new house are also 10′ so I wanted to compliment that by choosing a 9′ tree as our old 7′ tree was too small.

Red, Pink, and Teal Christmas Tree
I LOVE how red, pink, and teal complement each other. I find the colours are still traditional but add an element of chic fun. I’m sure you’ve finished decorating for this holiday season BUT if you are thinking of changing things up next year then this is a great time to shop! Almost all Christmas items are currently heavily discounted and on clearance. I saved a lot of money this year by purchasing an ornament package from Walmart for $32 and some of their fun $1 plastic accent ornaments: donuts, flamingos, and cupcakes in pink and teal.
I also found some really cheap deals at the Dollarama, like these big red snowflakes that came in a 4-pack for a little over a dollar. Michaels had good deals all throughout November and December too. I purchased three garlands stands of these glitter faux lightbulbs and placed them on first when I started decorating.
Digging through my old Christmas ornaments, I chose to add anything in white or red. So the tree still feels personalized to our family and brings in some of the nostalgia from previous years.

Fireplace Mantle
The mantle was so fun to decorate and something that I’ve been adding to throughout December. Have you become obsessed with the bottle brush trend yet? I say that you can never have too many. I’m hoping to find a few pink ones next year! These trees all came from Michaels along with the rest of the fireplace decorations. The bottle brush trees could be placed as a centrepiece on your kitchen table or in a windowsill. There are lots of uses for them!
I was really inspired by the llama garland that I stumbled upon while shopping for the glitter garland. I wasn’t sure how it was going to look but I knew that I had to have it. It may not be the perfect farmhouse compliment but it’s my favourite piece! Plus, my kids love it. The Ho Ho Ho sign could also be placed outside your front door as a greeting sign.
