Shared Planet Makeup Review
When I first received the press release about Shared Planet, I knew that I wanted to give this makeup a try. Sometimes I find it hard to find makeup that has good pigment. This is a quality that many drug-store makeup brands lack when it comes to eyeshadows. Pigment is the fine powder that eyeshadow is made of and high pigment packs lots of intense colour and has long-wear lasting power on your lids. It can either be matte or shimmery when it’s made with a mineral called mica. Shared Planet sent me the Polar Bear and Tiger eyeshadow palettes to try and I’ve totally fallen in love! It goes on easily and wears really well throughout the day. If you’re looking for a more everyday palette, then you’ll be happy with the neutral hues in the Tiger palette. Sometimes with palettes, there are colours that you likely won’t use. I found every single colour useable in this makeup look!
The brand, and its products, bring visibility to endangered animals and donates 10% of proceeds to animal-related charities across the world. Panthera, Polar Bears International and The Sea Turtle Conservancy.
How to Copy This Makeup look:
Here are the steps I used to create this long-lasting day-time look:
Eyes: Tiger Collection Eye Shadow Palette
- “Siberian” all over from lash line to brow
- “Whiskers” on eyelid
- “Fiery” in lid crease
- “Predator” on the outer corner of the crease and along the lash line
- “Roar” as a highlighter just below brow; from middle to end of the brow
- “Tiger Eye” on the inner corner of the lid
- “Stripes” along the lower lash line
Cheeks: Sea Turtle Highlighting Palette
- “Sun Kissed” on top of cheekbones, bridge of nose, and one line down the middle of the forehead
Lips: “Big Cat” Tiger Lip Gloss
