A skin cocktail: the order of products that you put on your face, in this case, to achieve dewy glowing skin! Here are my favourite products that I use in my morning skin routine before applying my makeup. Give your skin a boost of Vitamins A, B, and C, plus Hyaluronic Acid, and nourishing plant-based oils. This skincare routine is ultra-hydrating and also protects against sun damage. Check it out!
Dewy Glowing Skin Products
Step 1
Beauty Counter + All Bright C Serum
Vitamin C is a powerful anti-oxidant. When applied to your skin, it lightens hyperpigmentation (sun spots, melasma), evens skin tones, brightens skin, reduces under-eye circles, promotes collagen products and protects against UV exposure. It truly is a little miracle in a bottle and if you haven’t started using it yet, consider this Beauty Counter + Vitamin C Serum a great place to start in the morning. This is the very first product that I apply to my skin after a light facial cleanse.
I love this serum because it boasts two ultra-stable forms of Vitamin C, delivered in a supercharged 10% potency. Beauty Counter is known for its commitment to clean beauty and I trust the ingredients used in their products. Bonus: the Myrciaria Dubia (Camu Camu) Fruit Extract and Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract used makes it smell delightful!
Step 2
The delicate tissue around your eyes is typically the first place to show fine lines and wrinkles as we age. Keeping this skin ultra-hydrated is key! This Hydrating Eye Cream from DermaE uses Hyaluronic Acid to replenish moisture and smooth the appearance of crow’s feet and fine lines. Use a very small amount under each eye in the morning and at night. Use your pinky fingers to apply the cream by dabbing gently under and around the corners of your eyes.
Step 3
This is at least the second time that you’ve heard me talk about this serum on my blog. It’s my absolute favourite! This can be used morning and night but if you have oily skin, skip the daytime use. I find this is a great base under my makeup for keeping my dry skin soft and hydrated throughout the day. The bottle will last you quite a long time as you only need 1-2 drops on its own or mix it into your face cream before applying.
This bottle is full of plant-based ingredients: linoleic acid from raspberry seed oil, Vitamin A from goji seed oil, Vitamin B3 from chia seed oil, omegas and high anti-oxidants from sacha inchi oil. It’s truly a superfood for your skin. You’ll love it!
Try their Graydon’s Skin Stuff Face + Eye Cream too as a great follow-up to using this serum.

Step 4
Good Molecules Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer
First, let me say, I can’t believe how affordable this brand is! It also has some of the brightest, colourful packaging. Good Molecules has the look and feel of expensive products but has “drugstore” prices. Smooth, hydrate, and prep your skin for makeup with Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer from Good Molecules. It is a lightweight moisturizer made with macadamia seed oil, shea butter, and a naturally derived silicone alternative that provides a great base for flawless makeup application. Give their fantastic Hyaluronic Acid Serum a try too!
Step 5
Zo Skin Health Daily Sheer Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 50
Don’t forget about the most important step! I switched to this medical-grade sunscreen after noticing the onset of more dark spots and melasma on my face in the past fews. Don’t skimp out here, I strongly suggest that you never wear less than an SPF 40. If you are tired of your pasty skin, try adding self-tanning drops to your moisturizer, choose a slightly darker foundation shade, or use bronzing powder to fake that sun-kissed look!
This tinted foundation is non-greasy and quick-drying. After applying this skin cocktail to your face, I do recommend waiting a few minutes for the products to absorb before applying makeup. If you find this a little too heavy, then you’ll love ZO Skin Health’s Sunscreen + Powder SPF 40. It’s a tinted powder that can be applied over your makeup or as a finishing step for your dewy glowing skin cocktail!
Love, Kiki
