Just because the calendar is about to say SPRING, doesn’t mean that it FEELS like spring in Canada. So let’s WEATHER TOGETHER: grab some great transitional pieces that you can still layer in the cold and wear on their own once it finally warms up! I have three great outfits from Joe Fresh and three picturesque locations in Alberta (with a map). Let’s get inspired for spring in Canada!

Look 1 – Rain Gear in Bearspaw, Alberta
Spring in Alberta forecasts a 30% chance of rain, an 80% chance of snow and a 100% chance of style in this new raincoat and rain boot set from Joe Fresh! When I saw the first images of the new spring style, this raincoat was what I was most excited about! The coat is well made with a snap and zipper enclosure and a great price point at $59. And obviously, you have to grab the matching rain boots at only $29. This ensemble also comes in navy, green, and lilac. Plus, look for a complimentary coat and boots to twin with your little!
This great location where hay bales meet mountain landscape is along the highway 1A on your way out of Calgary, towards the town of Cochrane. See the map at the end of this post for the exact locations!
Look 2 – Preppy in Grassi Lakes, Alberta
I love how this preppy look came together. Tucking your sweater into a high-waisted jean gives you instant style credibility. The addition of the braided brown belt, bag, and loafers really polish off the outfit. It’s cute, comfortable, and classy. A great outfit for any woman on the go!
This location is close to the beautiful Grassi Lakes. Ha Ling Peak is the beautiful mountain top that you see in the background. This spot was also used in the filming of the movie The Revenant. Leo, is that you?

Look 3 – Feminine in Canmore, Alberta
What I love most about spring collections, is that we get to see more colour sneak back in after the fall and winter. Bring it on! I love how Joe Fresh has played up yellow, burnt orange, lilac, and red this year. Go have a peek around the website to see more! The colour red is always a head-turner and this dress
