This blog post is a HAIR triple whammy! I’m talking about:
- Revealing the secret trick to thick looking braids!
- A YouTube tutorial on how to achieve this gorgeous dutch front braid (great for hiding roots!)
- What products I use to keep my extensions looking healthy
Front Dutch Braid
I love this front dutch braid for a few reasons. First and foremost, it is the BEST way to hide regrowth from your roots. The braid traces down your hairline and overlaps part of your face to cover your longer roots. I also use this style when I still want to wear my hair down after a few days between shampoos. It adds volume and fullness back into your hair and still allows your hair to look long and full. Lastly, it’s a pretty good braid for beginners because you aren’t incorporating all of your hair and doesn’t take very long to do!

The Secret to Thick Braids
I always get questions about how I make my braids look so thick! You DO NOT need thick hair to create these looks, it is simply a trick of pulling the loops apart at the end. Watch the video to learn the secret of how to achieve this look, you will never stop once you start! While you’re there, don’t forget to subscribe to my channel!
The Extension Addict – Hair Product Line
I also wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about some of the hair products that I use to keep my extensions looking so healthy! I can’t believe it’s already been 6 months since I’ve had them installed! All of these products are highlighted in the video above. The Tea Time shampoo has worked wonders to stop my scalp from itching, especially after tightenings. I highly recommend the conditioner, mask and detangler to keep your ends looking healthy and moisturized! Don’t forget to use coupon code KIKI10 for 10% off any full package at The Extensionist!
